There are certain features one simply cannot fit within "standard options" due to the additional costs they incur. Depending on one's values and preferences, however, the benefit of a particular feature may far outweigh the cost.

Another such feature is an in-ground swimming pool. Several more KHLH homes sport these. Bringing up the issue of innovative use of space, note that one is actually built in an exposed lower level underneath a Spancrete garage ceiling! (It holds a phenomenal view of the valley below.)
KHLH recently installed a custom built spiral staircase from ArcWays, Inc. This phenomenal spectacle opens down at the grand entrance and leads to a billiard room/ballroom below. While its tag is the price of an average car, it takes you to a destination both better and farther than you could go on wheels.
Other luxuries include full or butler bars, elevators, exercise rooms, saunas or steam rooms, and high-tech electronics and sound systems. Whatever your fantasy, indulge!
